Welcome to River Park Resort in California's Gold Country. We have the perfect place to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature. Nestled along the tranquil banks of the South Fork of the American River, our resort offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our property boasts a variety of camping options, from large group events to private sites for tent camping, a river view yurt and spaces for camper vans.

As summer approaches and the temperatures rise, there's no better way to beat the heat than by spending a few days at River Park Resort. Our scenic location on the South Fork of the American River offers the perfect setting for a relaxing and rejuvenating camping experience. We have a calm stretch of the river which is a cool option for wading and splashing. With our various accommodation options there's something for everyone at River Park Resort.
Large Group campsite
Site 1: Our riverfront campsite that fits up to 60 people is the perfect option for large groups or families looking for a beautiful river front camping area. 12 persons are included in the $300 per night minimum. Additional campers in your group (up to 60 total) are charged $25 per person per night. If you have more than 60 people please contact us about renting the entire resort for your event.

Small private campsites
Located under shady oaks with a nice view of the river. Site 2 holds from 4 to 12 persons. 4 persons are included in the $100 per night minimum charge. Additional campers in your group (up to 12 total) are charged $25 per person per night.
Site 3:
Our most remote and private campsite with access to a nice beach, site 3 is a favorite spot for campers looking for a true nature experience with all the comforts of modern camping. Site 3 holds from 4 to 8 persons. 4 persons are included in the $100 per night minimum charge. Additional campers in your group (up to 8 total) are charged $25 per person per night.

Camper van space (water and electric hook-up available)
Camper van space is typically in high demand and has limited availability due to its compact size and versatility. Holds up to a 20' rv.

Riverview yurt (sleeps up to 2 adults)
Experience the ultimate glamping getaway with our Riverview yurt rental, accommodating up to 2 adults people with stunning views of the river. The yurt includes a queen sized bed and a bunk bed which will sleep 2 additional youths. Linens are included.
